Anele Ndebele is an associate attorney whose practice focuses on litigation, mining law, environmental law, and legislative advisory. He advises on civil and commercial disputes, regulatory compliance, and matters at the intersection of law, governance, and public policy.

Before entering private practice, Anele served as a Member of Parliament in Zimbabwe, where he sat on the Parliamentary Portfolio Committees on Mines and Mining Development and Justice, as well as the Parliamentary Legal Committee — Parliament’s constitutional watchdog responsible for reviewing the constitutionality of legislation.

He also represented Zimbabwe at the SADC Parliamentary Forum, where he chaired the Standing Committee on Trade, Industry, Finance and Investment, contributing to regional model laws.

Anele currently serves as a Commissioner with the Zimbabwe Human Rights Commission and as a board member at the Office of the Master of the High Court. These roles inform his approach to legal practice, particularly in matters involving constitutional rights, regulatory frameworks, and governance.

He holds a Master of Laws in Constitutional and Human Rights Law, a Master of Commerce in Marketing Strategy, a Bachelor of Laws (Honours), an Honours Degree in Media and Society Studies, as well as Diplomas in Humanitarian Studies and Education.
